  1. Presentation of a teacher:

The first people lived in caves. They lived in big groups to help each other. Their lives were very dangerous. There were a lot of wild animals near the caves – mammoths, bears, elephants and other animals. Cavemen hunted. They killed animals for food and used their skins for clothes. They also caught fish and picked wild fruit. Cavemen didn’t live in one place. They followed the animals they hunted and searched for places where they could find water and food.Half a million years ago, cavemen started using fire. It was very important for their lives. They used fire to heat their caves, cook food and drive wild animals away. Cavemen made different tools and objects out of stone. They used them to hunt and cut animals’ skins and meat. Therefore, we call this period the Stone Age.
